Old Settlers Park in Round Rock is a sprawling 645-acre park popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts in Central Texas. History of Old Settlers Park Old Settlers Park is named after the Old Settlers Association of Williamson County, founded in 1904 to honor early pioneers who had settled in the area. The association held annual picnics and reunions in the park, then called the “City Park.” In the 1970s, the City of Round Rock acquired the land and developed it into a park.
